To celebrate the ninth international Open Data Day, we'll be celebrating in Wellington with a one-day, free hackathon. A chance for us to get together and prototype innovative products and services, using open data.

All you need to bring is your own devices and your ideas! We'll provide space, food and Wi-Fi.

** What's Open Data Day? **

Open Data Day is a global celebration of open data. Groups around the world come together on the day to take part in local events where they use open data in and for their communities, to solve local challenges, explore exciting opportunities and more.

Members of the community, public servants, designers, developers, statisticians, young, old and inbetween.

And everything created is for anyone to use and re-use.
